Pregnancy and birth have been revolutionized. The array of services, products, and philosophies are both comforting and confusing. Women have limitless childbirth options yet often feel overwhelmed or judged for their thoughts, beliefs, or choices. The pressure to do it “the right way” can rob a woman of the joy she deserves in pregnancy and motherhood. My goal is to offer emotional and physical support with a nonjudgmental, confidential, and compassionate intention—not to force an agenda, personal opinion, or philosophy. Often, that means bridging the gap between western medicine and holistic alternatives—combining the best of both to serve a client with the utmost respect and best resources available. The mission is to honor your choices, respect your views, and support your family. Walker Karraa, MFA, MA, CD(DONA) |
